Training

R.T.T.C. Mysore is imparting training to the new entrants and serving employees of the Department of Telecommunications under two different categories viz. Induction and Inservice courses.

Induction courses are primarily meant for newly recruited JTOs, TTAs and departmental promotees to the JTO, JAO and TTA cadre. Specialized Induction courses i.e phase 2  are also being conducted for  JTOs in Switching & Transmission, Data Communication, Information Technology. Induction courses for Sr.TOAs are also conducted in the training centre. Inservice refresher training courses are being conducted for the departmental personnel already working in various fields of the department so that they can update their knowledge in new technology exchanges and systems in which they have to work.

The inservice training imparted is broadly under the following categories i.e. Telecommunication Technology, Data communications, Computer oriented, Administration & Management, Accounts, Mission Oriented Technical courses, Instructional Technology courses etc. These Inservice courses are conducted for Group C staff, JTOs, JAOs, AAOs, AOs, SDEs and DEs. Field Training Programme is conducted at various SSA levels in 'Balanced Business Score Card' and 'Challenging Competition through Customer Care'
